second, do you know of any livejournal communities/tumblrs for rarepairs/femslash/anything that's not John/Sherlock or Mycroft/Lestrade? I love those two ships, but they're pretty much all I see unless I'm looking specifically for something else, and it'd be nice to find a place where everything was already compiled.

(especially for femslash or even just fics focusing on the show's female characters. you'd think that with all of the amazing women

Unfortunately, as Sherlock/John is really the only thing I ship enough to be involved in communities and fanfiction for, I can’t be a great deal of help! D:

You’re probably well aware of this already but just in case: the Sherlock fic meme has a femslash tag just specifically for fanfic. Also, SherlockBBC (on LJ) has a community promotions tag, so there could be some communities hidden in there? Both sites also have individual pairings tags and both include a number of tags for several rare and/or femslash pairings. 

I know there is a fair section of the fandom out there for femslash and rare parings, though! So, if anyone can help out at all do step up!
